Lip Filler
A Touch in Harmony with Your Face, Far from Exaggeration
Lip filler is a delicate intervention performed in one of the most striking areas of the face. For this reason, every lip filler treatment is not only about adding volume; it is also the art of reading facial proportions, preserving expression and creating balance.
At her practice in Nişantaşı, Dr. Nur Bayraktar tailors lip filler treatments to each person’s facial structure, smile and aesthetic needs.
The goal is not simply to have fuller lips — but to create a natural expression that blends with the face and reflects your personality.
What Are the Goals of Lip Filler?
Not every lip filler procedure is performed with the same purpose. The most common requests in Dr. Bayraktar’s practice include:
- Adding volume to naturally thin lips
- Correcting asymmetry
- Balancing the upper and lower lips
- Restoring age-related volume loss
- Defining the lip contour
- Supporting smile aesthetics
Before treatment, a detailed assessment is made. Lip shape, chin distance, the dental line and the nose–lip proportion are evaluated together. In this way, each procedure is harmonized with the face as a whole.

What Determines a Natural Look?
Dr. Bayraktar’s approach is based on the principle of “not too much, just enough.” Therefore, during the procedure:
- Filler with a density suitable for the subcutaneous tissue structure is selected
- Lip movements that occur while smiling are taken into account
- The golden ratio is not used as a reference; the person’s own proportions are preserved
- The choice between cannula or needle is made according to the lip anatomy
For a natural result, every face, every age and every smile needs to be planned individually.
Procedure and Aftercare
The lip filler procedure takes approximately 15–20 minutes. Before treatment, comfort is ensured with a topical anesthetic cream or with the local anesthetic contained in the filler itself.
After the procedure, mild swelling, tenderness to touch and bruising may occur. These usually resolve within 2–3 days. Full settling of the result takes around 7–10 days.
The longevity of the fillers is on average 6–12 months, depending on the material used and the individual’s metabolism.
Who Is Lip Filler Suitable For?
- Those who want a natural yet defined lip contour
- Individuals who have lost lip volume with age
- Those who feel their expression fades in photographs
- People with asymmetry affecting only the upper or lower lip
- Anyone seeking a subtle, “barely noticeable” aesthetic touch
A New Story for Your Lips to Tell
Lip filler only makes sense when it is in harmony with the other areas of the face.
Otherwise, at first glance, it is not the lips that are noticed — only the procedure.
Dr. Nur Bayraktar’s approach to lip filler is shaped precisely along this line:
→ Those who see you don’t say, “Your filler looks nice.” They say, “You look so good.”
